Can a doctor prescribe medicines in a video consultation?
Registered doctors may prescribe many medicines after an online consultation, following India's Telemedicine Practice Guidelines. Some medicines and conditions need an in-person visit.
When is a video consultation not suitable?
It is not suitable for emergencies such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe injury or stroke signs. Call 108 or go to the nearest emergency department.
What do I need for a video consultation?
